Terms of Service (TOS)

Last Updated: February 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms & Age Requirement

By accessing trugreencannabis.com (the “Website”), you represent and warrant that you are at least nineteen (19) years of age (the legal age for cannabis consumption in British Columbia). Access by any person under the age of 19 is strictly prohibited and a violation of these Terms.

2. Nature of Information (Invitation to Treat)

The content on this Website is provided for informational and brand-preference purposes only in accordance with Section 17 of the Cannabis Act.

  • No Offer to Sell: Product listings, descriptions, and pricing displayed on this Website do not constitute an offer to sell, but rather an “invitation to treat.”
  • Third-Party Menu: All cannabis-related transactions are processed through our third-party menu provider (Blaze/Greenline). Trugreen Cannabis does not process payments for cannabis products directly on this WordPress instance.

3. Wellness & Educational Content Disclaimer

Our content—including information regarding CBD, athletes, and wellness—is for educational purposes only. It is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition or the use of cannabis products for wellness.

4. Prohibited Promotional Uses

In compliance with Canadian law, users are prohibited from:

  • Sharing or distributing Website content to anyone under the age of 19.
  • Using any “Trugreen” brand elements (logos, slogans) in a manner that associates them with glamour, recreation, excitement, vitality, risk, or daring.
  • Using the Website to promote cannabis products to minors.

5. Event Space (The Cub Spot/Space) Bookings

Information regarding our event spaces is provided for community and private booking inquiries. All events hosted at Trugreen-affiliated spaces must comply with local Cumberland municipal bylaws and provincial cannabis consumption regulations. We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel bookings that do not align with our safety and compliance standards.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, including the Trugreen logo, “The Cub Spot” branding, photography, and text, is the property of Trugreen Cannabis or its licensors. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or use these materials for commercial purposes without express written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

Trugreen Cannabis and its directors shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the Website or any third-party links (e.g., the Blaze menu). This includes, but is not limited to, errors in product availability or pricing on the menu platform.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.

Yes, absolutely. In the digital world, this is known as a “Unilateral Amendment” clause.

Without it, you could technically be held to the version of the terms that existed on the day the user first visited your site. For a highly regulated business like Trugreen—where Health Canada or the BC LCRB might change marketing rules overnight—you need the explicit right to update your terms to stay compliant without asking every customer for permission.

Here is the section you should add to the TOS I wrote previously. I recommend placing it near the top (often as Section 2) or at the very end.

9. Amendments to These Terms

Trugreen Cannabis reserves the right to modify, add, or remove portions of these Terms of Service at any time to reflect changes in the law, our business practices, or the regulatory environment of the cannabis industry in British Columbia.

  • Notice of Change: It is your responsibility to check these Terms periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Website following the posting of changes will mean that you accept and agree to the revised Terms.
  • Effective Date: Changes are effective immediately upon being posted on this Website. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will indicate the most recent revision.

To make your Terms of Service truly robust and “inspector-ready” for 2026, we need to bridge the gap between your retail brand and your new event/community spaces (The Cub Spot/Space).

Adding the following sections to your TOS will protect your license by demonstrating that you are not just “selling,” but actively managing a compliant community environment.

10. Promotion & Social Responsibility (The “Compliance” Clause)

In accordance with the BC Cannabis Control and Licensing Act, Trugreen Cannabis is committed to socially responsible messaging.

  • No Encouragement of Excess: Content on this Website is not intended to encourage the excessive or irresponsible consumption of cannabis.
  • Health Warning: Users are encouraged to review Health Canada’s official health information regarding the risks associated with cannabis use before purchase or consumption.
  • No Minors in Imagery: We strictly prohibit the use of any imagery or testimonials on this site that could be perceived as appealing to young persons or that associates cannabis with a “glamorous” or “risky” lifestyle.

11. Event Space & Facility Terms (The Cub Spot / Cub Space)

As Trugreen operates physical community and event spaces, the following terms apply to all booking inquiries and attendance:

  • Consumption Policy: All events must strictly adhere to Cumberland municipal bylaws and Provincial regulations regarding cannabis and tobacco consumption. The presence of a “Cub Space” does not override local “Clean Air” or “Public Consumption” bylaws.
  • Prohibition of Alcohol: In accordance with BC LCRB regulations, the simultaneous service of alcohol and the consumption of cannabis in a licensed retail or affiliated space is strictly prohibited.
  • Right of Refusal: Trugreen reserves the right to remove any individual from our premises or cancel any event booking if the safety of our staff, the community, or regulatory compliance is at risk.

This Website contains links to our e-commerce menu (powered by Blaze/Greenline).

  • Data Flow: By clicking “Shop,” you acknowledge you are leaving the WordPress environment and entering a third-party platform.
  • Pricing Accuracy: While we strive for 100% accuracy, the price and availability listed on the Blaze menu at the time of pickup or delivery in-store shall prevail over any information listed on the WordPress blog or promotional pages.

13. User-Generated Content & Reviews

If you allow comments on blog posts (e.g., about CBD for athletes) or product reviews:

  • Compliance Moderation: Trugreen reserves the right to delete any user comment that makes unsubstantiated medical claims, includes testimonials from minors, or uses language that violates Federal promotion laws.
  • License to Use: By posting on our site, you grant Trugreen a non-exclusive license to use that content for informational brand-preference purposes.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trugreen Cannabis, its affiliates, and employees from any claims, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Website, or your non-compliance with BC cannabis laws while attending Trugreen events.
